Hi, First, attach the screw part. Then, insert one end into the joint, pushing it in slowly. The component will bend slightly but should not break. I used an Andrew driver to help with this process. You can see how to do it in the video at the 1:35 mark: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IKcyJQlR6X8.
